Dr. Brian P. Hall, Founder and President

Brian’s primary work has been in Values research. Working with an international team in the 1970s he posited that there are 125 values that underpin human behavior. At the University of Santa Clara he developed a measurement instrument, validated by the American Psychological Association, for the 125 values, that includes applications for individual and group values assessment.

In the 1990’s Brian designed cultural alignment processes that were implemented in global organizations such as Siemens, Alcoa, CIBC, Telus and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics. His proprietary document values analysis software has been used for branding and marketing, and to assess values compatibility with potential merger/acquisition targets. Most recently, Brian is exploring partnerships to use value assessment tools to make values explicit on social networks in order to deepen conversations.

Brian has published over 25 books and articles on values with the most recent being The Genesis Effect (2006) and Values Shift: Understanding Human and Organizational Development (2006).
